Door, Architrave and shelving Specifications
Door Specs
Standard doors are made to the internationally accepted size of 1650mm x 760mm. Please bear in mind that although this is our standard size door we are in no way limited to these dimensions. All the door and architraves we design and manufacture are fully customisable to suit the client’s needs. The finishes available are 25 micron natural anodising, or a variety of powder coated colours and finishes. The glass used in the door is an insulated glass unit, which consists of two sheets of toughened 4mm safety glass. These two units are hermetically sealed with an air cavity of 12mm. The front 4mm pane of toughened glass has a low emissivity coating which blocks out excess u.v. rays, thereby increasing the cooling efficiency of our doors. We have a variety of handles for our doors but the most popular unit is an aluminium arch handle, which attracts a huge amount of attention. Door hinges are machined aluminium units and are self closing. These hinges have various tension settings to choose from. Door seals are the clip in type and are very user friendly allowing on site replacement, which is very uncommon as these gaskets are extremely durable and have excellent magnetic properties. An incorporated thermal break ensures that there is no transfer of cold from the architrave to the door, which contributes to the prevention of condensation.
Architrave Specs
Architraves are available in one, two, three and four doors configurations with any combination of the above possible. The finishes available are 25 micron natural anodising, or a variety of powder coated colours and textures. Architraves are fitted with anti-condensation heaters so you will never have to worry about sweating even in the most humid and warm conditions. Architraves are also designed with stainless steel fronts, which, besides being very attractive, provides the ideal surface for the magnetic doors seals to close on. Imported light fittings are used in the architrave. The actual lamp holders are water and dust proof. Electronic ballasts power the 5-foot fluorescent lights. These lights in turn are protected by a polycarbonate diffuser, which disperses the light evenly over all the displayed merchandise. All the electrics in the architrave are housed out of the cold zone and properly earthed. Electrics are fully serviceable from the front of the frame.
